On Monday, May 29, the Chapter members prepare for discernment in view of the election of the superior general and her assistants through the contribution offered by Father Humberto Miguel Yanez: “Seek and choose the will of God”. Mother Annamaria offers to the assembly, with the help of the Rule of Life, some criteria to keep in mind regarding the discernment for the choice of the superior general. On May 31, the new superior general, Mother Venita Fernandes, was elected. The day continues, after the gesture of obedience by each Chapter member, in the celebration and with a prayer of thanksgiving, also in live streaming. On June 3, the four general assistants were elected: sr Maria Monica Moschen, sr Luisa Bonforte, sr Saly Painadath, sr Maria Goretti Wichianniranat. Now the new general council can start walking together.
