Opening Prayer

The opening prayer of the General Chapter – prepared by the sisters  the Delegation of Zambia and Zimbabwe – reminds us that we have been gathered from different parts of the world, so that together, in prayer and in reflection, we can look at the reality of our religious family. During the prayer we invoked the Holy Spirit and some of the sisters from different continents made some gestures that express our desire to place ourselves before Jesus, so that he may open our eyes and our ears to what He wants to tell us “today”.
