Here I am Lord, with all my humanity.
I surrender myself into Your hands, as I am:
little and poor
but also, the marvel You have fashioned.
Humanity’s need is great
and I am only a small bread,
fruit of the earth and work of human hands.
Pronounce Your Word on me
and bless me.
Transform me into you.
Break me where You will,
for whom You know,
in the ways that Your wisdom
considers more suitable and necessary
for the good of many brothers and sisters
small and big,
for the salvation of the whole world.
