HAIL TO JESUS AND HIS MOST HOLY CROSS

This is poor Bortolamea who humbly pays her respects
to you and commends herself to your charity. The good Giulia

Romelli wishes to do something extra during the Novena
because the Feast of the Annunciation is the anniversary of
her Holy Betrothal to Jesus Christ. She therefore requests you
to let her carry out the few practices noted down in the paper
enclosed. If you have no objection, you need not return the
paper to me, because I have made a copy of it. I will take your
silence to mean a kind consent. If not, please let me know.
This evening, if you have a moment free, I beg you to
devote it to my soul by hearing my Confession.
May God make of you a great Saint: this is my heartfelt
wish.
