She encourages him in his commitment for the erection of the new
Institute - Her humility makes her hesitate to write out the plan for it -

            in teaching at school.

HAIL TO JESUS AND HIS MOST HOLY CROSS

Very Reverend Father in Jesus Christ,

I am breaking the brief silence kept with you. I keep
telling myself that I should not be too much of a nuisance to
you with my frequent writing, but that is how I am. I am always
starting from scratch. However, my experience of your
goodness of heart is all the assurance I need. I was overjoyed
last Thursday, when I saw how concerned you are about the
longed-for Institute. I felt so happy when you said, «I don’t
want to give up the undertaking. On the contrary, I want to do
my utmost till it be successfully brought about». Words that

greatly cheered the heart of our good God, words He has
already written in Heaven in letters of gold. May He grant you
the perseverance needed for such a great undertaking; may
He give you an invincible steadfastness, immense patience,
uncommon tact and an aptitude for any activity so that with the
Lord’s special assistance you may soon bring His Work to a
            good end.
