TO LUCIA & GIULIA ROMELLI
She sends them devotional practices for the month of June dedicated to
St Aloysius - She enquires about the health of a fellow member - She
recommends not to overdo in devout exercises.

HAIL TO JESUS, MARY & ST ALOYSIUS

My dearest Friends and Sisters,

The shirts are practically ready were it not for lacking
material for the shoulders of one of them. Please see if they
have forgotten to put it all that is needed inside, and send it at
the earliest opportunity, and they will be at once attended to.
I am enclosing the practices for the month of June
dedicated to our most loveable St Luigino. I really love this
Saint. Though I have no doubt that you are most diligent and
fervent in honouring this Saint, yet I cannot help recommending
him to you very earnestly and more especially to pray that he
may obtain for me the grace of imitating his virtues and of
being grateful for the graces that he obtains for me. I am
sending you a single copy, asking you to be so kind as to
make another copy and send it to M. Vertova, news of whom I
am very eager to have. For more than a month I have received
no letter from her, which makes me very anxious because I
fear that she may have fallen ill.
