She congratulates them on the good done in the month of May - She
urges them on to zealous works, as a kind of preparation for the near
future, especially in occasion of the Jubilee Year.

GLORY TO THEM

Dearly beloved Sisters,

Just I was very glad to have news about your month of
Mary, heard from the lips of your Mother who has done me the

honour of paying me a most welcome visit. Mary, our dear
Mamma, must have surely been very pleased with the zealous
care and kind concern you have had towards so many girls in
your desire to serve and honour her! Have no doubt about it:
She will reward you a hundred times over, as becomes her
noble heart, for such services so dear to Her. In fact, I am sure
she has by now made you feel the effects of her tender love.
This should give you a new eagerness to work hard for the
sake of Jesus and Mary. The thing that will please them most
is that of gaining souls for Heaven. If we had to labour hard for
a thousand years just to prevent a single venial sin, our labour
would have been well spent; what should we say if we could
win over a soul to God? Ah! What rejoicing there would be in
