RULES

To be observed in the oratory of the Daughters

of the Virgin Mary

1. Let a Priest who is mature, serious-minded and of
authoritative judgement be appointed to assist the group
and be its Director.
2. The sacred place chosen for the purpose must have
an altar for the celebration of Holy Mass in occasion of
devout functions: accessible to all.
3. Draw a list of all the girls who wish to be enrolled,
chosen from among those who lead a remarkably virtuous
life.
4. If a widow or married woman, who is outstandingly
pious, wishes to be admitted, she may be enrolled if
provision is made for that state-in-life.
5. Fix a convenient period during the year for the
holding of the Spiritual Exercises for purposes of spiritual
renewal and good resolutions.
6. Fix a Sunday or Solemnity during the year on which,
after due preparation, the girls will all receive Holy
Communion at which they will give their heart to Jesus and
Mary.
