ORGANIZATIONAL RULES
FOR THE ASSOCIATION OF MARY MOST HOLY

The Association must have its own title; it must be
placed under some Mystery of the Blessed Virgin; the most
appropriate one is the Mystery of her Nativity. The young
girls, members of the Association, must observe it as a
solemn day, with communion for all preparing for it with a
Retreat of eight or ten days, done in common.
Meetings are held for all the members on all Sundays
and days of obligation and on all other days on which some
Mystery of Mary Most Holy is celebrated, even if it falls on a
weekday. Meetings will be held in this manner: when all the
girls have gathered and are each at the fixed seat, the
Sister of the week intones the Vespers of the Common of
the Blessed Virgin Mary. When that is over, all sit down and
the Reader conducts a quarter-of-an-hour spiritual reading.
After that, the Director gives a brief exhortation and then
the sister of the week recites with the others the three Hail
Marys for Holy Purity, and some other Hail Mary for the sick
members and Psalm 129 (Out of the Depths...) for the
members departed. If it is a day endowed with Indulgences,
the usual prayers for gaining them are said, and then all
