whom lies all our delight even here on earth? Ah, dear friend,
let us strive to enter it; however much it may cost us, it will
never be too much. I know you are very charitable, and so I
too make bold to come forward and ask an act of charity, and
it is this: to offer three Holy Communions for my intention. I
beg it earnestly of you, please don’t say No. I want to obtain a
grace from God, but I do not deserve it and so I beg others to
pray and get it for me. Give my sincere regards to Miss
Giustina and Miss Lucia, and please ask them, too, to offer a
Holy Communion for my intention. Tell them to excuse the
liberty I take and that I will be very grateful to them. Let me
know when you write if you have told them and if they agree to
do it. Goodbye, my dear ‘Momolina’. See you again on Mt.
Calvary where Jesus expects us to be compassionately close
to him in his terrible suffering. Goodbye.
Your faithful, loving Friend
