Nekemte, Ethiopia
The recent rivalry between the tribes of Oromo and Gumus has led 70 thousand people to take refuge in the diocesan centre at Nekemte. As a response to charity, our sisters Sr. Christina Thomas and Sr. Annie Joseph along with the teachers and students collected food, sanitary material and clothing to help these people in need. The beauty of this charitable deed lies in this: all the things were given by the students!
